Can I drive to Germania Insurance Amphitheater?

Yes, there is free parking at the venue and multiple parking lots. It is recommended that you arrive early to avoid queues and secure a parking space close to the entrance. 

Can I bring outside food and drinks into Germania Insurance Amphitheater?

No, outside food and drinks are not permitted to be brought into the venue. Empty reusable water bottles up to 20 oz are allowed into the venue. You can purchase food and drinks within the venue, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The food villages include popular eateries such as Four Brothers, Always Hungry, and Wings ‘N’ More.

Are there bag checks at the Amphitheater in Austin?

Yes, when you enter the venue, your bag will be checked for security purposes. Please make sure that you have read the bag policy and checked the list of prohibited items before you attend an event at the venue.

Are there age restrictions at Germania Insurance Amphitheater?

No, the venue does not have any age restrictions, but some events may have age restrictions. Infants up to age 2 have free admission to the GA lawn when accompanied by a ticketed adult but children 3 and over are required to have their own ticket. You should check that the event is suitable for the age of the child if you are considering bringing them to an event.

Can you smoke at the Germania Insurance Amphitheater?

You are not permitted to smoke on the floor, GA lawn, or reserved seating in the amphitheater. This includes vapes and e-cigs. However, there are designated smoking areas within the venue.

Are there general admission tickets at Germania Insurance Amphitheater?

Yes, you can purchase general admission tickets for the lawn area and, for some events, there is GA availability in the pit section.

How many people fit in Germania Amphitheater?

The capacity of Germania Amphitheater is 14,000 but for some events, such as the F1 Grand Prix concerts, additional capacity is created using the temporary Super Stage.

What happens if an event is canceled?

Although it is very rare that an event at the Germania Amphitheater gets canceled, ticket holders will usually be able to get a refund, or tickets will be re-issued if the event is rescheduled. 

Is the Germania Insurance Amphitheater covered?

No, the amphitheater is an outdoor venue with no roof so guests should come prepared for the weather. It is advisable to take a poncho or raincoat if rain is forecast. 

Can I take an umbrella into Germania Insurance Amphitheater?

While small umbrellas with a diameter of less than 41” are allowed into the venue, guests are forbidden from opening umbrellas in the floor, reserved seating, or lawn areas.

Are strollers allowed into the COTA amphitheater?

Strollers are only allowed in the Grand Plaza and concessions areas and not the lawn, reserved seating, or floor areas.

Can I bring an RV to Germania Insurance Amphitheater?

Yes, there is RV camping allowed at the venue. Tickets should be reserved in advance of attending your event at the Germania Insurance Amphitheater.
