Germania Insurance Amphitheater Rules
For the safety of everyone at the venue, guests will always be subject to search upon entering the premises. Any guests that refuse to be searched may be denied and refunded their ticket purchase price (excluding service charge fees). The venue’s search policy varies depending on the type of event and the probability of guests carrying prohibited items into the venue.
In order for guests to enjoy a safe at Austin’s amphitheater, the following actions will not be tolerated by the management:
» The throwing of objects within the amphitheater or surrounding grounds.
» The reselling of tickets at any time on the grounds of the Austin360 Amphitheater or any part of the Circuit of The Americas grounds or parking lots. As private property, the Austin 360 Amphitheater reserves the right not to allow the resale of concert tickets at any time on the premises.
» The use of counterfeit tickets. Any guests that attempt to use counterfeit tickets will be denied entry. Guests assume all risk if purchasing tickets through non-authorized ticket holders.
» Re-entry to the Austin360 Amphitheater. Exceptions are rarely made and only with approval from the appropriate gate supervisor.
» Soliciting or vending of any kind on the grounds of the Austin360 Amphitheater. No distribution of fliers, selling of goods etc. will be allowed on the premises grounds unless authorized by the Austin360 Amphitheater management.
» Smoking in the reserved seating areas or on the amphitheater lawn. Guests are only permitted to smoke in designated areas around the Grand Plaza.
» Illegal substance abuse or intoxication. Any guests display signs of either may be refused entry.
» Standing or dancing in the aisles or on the stairways. For safety reasons and in compliance with the State Fire Code these things are not permitted.
Prohibited items
» Aerosol cans (hairspray, bug spray, sunscreen, spray paint, and so on)
» Alcohol, Illegal and illicit substances or drug paraphernalia
» Animals; except for certified service animals as dictated by the US Department of Justice guidelines
» Audio and video recording equipment, including iPads, Go-Pros, and drones
» Balloons, confetti, glitter, glow sticks, silly-string, or other projectiles
» Camelback-style hydration packs/water reservoirs
» Cameras with detachable lenses
» E-liquid or vape juice
» Flags and banners
» Fireworks, smoke bombs, and other explosives
» Glass or metal containers of any kind
» Ice chests, coolers, and thermoses
» Inflatables (such as balloons, balls, and furniture)
» Laptops and tablets
» Large blankets measuring more than 60” x 30”
» Large umbrellas (small personal umbrellas are allowed and may not exceed 41” in diameter when open)
» Non-medical face coverings or masks that cover a majority of your face
» Outside food or beverages (reusable, collapsible water bottles and cups are allowed if 20oz or smaller and empty upon entering the venue – excludes camelback-style hydration packs/water reservoirs)
» Selfie sticks or tripods
» Signs on posts
» Small bags or purses that are not clear cannot be larger than 4.5″ x 6.5″ x 2″ (review bag policy)
» Strollers are allowed in the Grand Plaza and concessions areas, but they are not allowed on the floor, in reserved seating, or on the GA lawn
» Tents, sun shades, or tarps
» Weapons of any kind or sharp objects
The security team will also refuse any items that they deem to be a safety hazard or annoyance to participants or guests (including balls, bells, frisbees, horns, laser pointers, musical instruments, noisemakers, projectiles, radios, and whistles.)
Security screening
Everyone entering the venue will go through security screening measures such as metal detectors and bag searches. In some cases, pat-downs may be completed.
Bag policy
The venue operates a strict bag policy and any prohibited bags will not be allowed to be taken in.
Bags must meet the following criteria:
» Clear tote bag made from plastic, vinyl, or PVC, which must not exceed 12” x 12” x 6”
» Clear plastic storage bags no more than 1 gallon and must be resealable
» Small bags must not exceed 4.5” x 6.5” x 2” (these do not have to be clear)
The following are not permitted:
» Backpacks of any kind
» Camera cases
» Bags with printed patterns or that are tinted
» Duffle bags
» Fanny packs
» Mesh or straw bags
» Reusable grocery bags
» Clutch bags or purses larger than 4.5” x 6.5” x 2”
Accessibility
There is accessible seating available for all the pricing options at the amphitheater. Sections 102-106, 202-206 and the general admission lawn area have accessible seating available, with the option to purchase up to three companion seats in the same row.
The venue also has dedicated ADA space within the Tower Club, which is the VIP experience with elevated views of the stage.
American Sign Language services
You can submit a request for ASL interpreter services but there is no guarantee of this service. It is recommended that you submit a request at least 3 weeks prior to the event you are attending. If your request is granted, ASL interpreters will be situated in front of the stage to the left of the floor.
Weather policy
Events at Germania Insurance Amphitheater are rarely canceled and will go ahead in all weather, unless there is severe weather that could cause the management to cancel on safety grounds. You can check the Germania Insurance Amphitheater’s social media feeds for any updates in the lead-up to events.
Recording equipment
Cameras with detachable lenses are not allowed into the venue and audio video recording equipment is prohibited. The camera policy is set by each artist/event so you should check the camera policy details for the specific event you are attending.
Payments inside the venue
Germania Insurance Amphitheater is a cashless venue, so if you want to make any purchases inside the venue, you will require a debit or credit card. This includes making payments at the concessions stalls and upgraded parking payments.
Lost and found
If you lose an item while attending an event at Germania Insurance Amphitheater, you can go to the Guest Services locations to check whether it has been handed in. After the event, you are able to report a lost item online and the venue will contact you if it has been found.
